About Culture Kids
OUR MISSION
Culture Kids was created to make learning Spanish fun & engaging. Our mission is clear: Teach the 'everyday Spanish' to kids aged 3-14 in a fun and engaging environment, through our immersive program, Spanish in Motion. We believe in making language learning a positive experience by creating a stimulating environment where kids feel empowered to participate in activities and express themselves freely.
Our teachers focus on forming strong bonds with each student. Connecting with them is essential for building confidence, sparking curiosity, and nurturing their ability to overcome challenges. Every child deserves unwavering support throughout their educational journey, and at Culture Kids, we excel in making each child feel valued and celebrated. We embrace diversity and promote cultural awareness, ensuring every child feels special and unique.
With over 20 years of experience teaching children across three continents in both English and Spanish, Giselle brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the classroom.
Starting in the vibrant streets of Buenos Aires, Argentina, she sparked young imaginations with English lessons at two prestigious preschools, The Clover and Babyland. Then, she ventured to Boston, MA, where she infused life into Spanish at the renowned International Language Foundations, leading 14 classes a week with boundless energy and creativity across various after-school clubs.
When not molding young minds, Giselle and her partner-in-crime, Thomas, become globe-trotting adventurers! From the lively streets of Asia to the untamed savannas of Africa, and even the captivating scenery of Australia and Europe, this dynamic duo has embraced every corner of the globe. Their adventures span from their whirlwind honeymoon to present-day, often accompanied by their four young kids!

HOW IT STARTED
MY APPROACH
"I strongly believe that today’s children tend to have short attention spans. The traditional classroom method is not best suited for Gen Z’s. They need to be continuously engaged and stimulated. The key is to keep “the speed” at the right level to not leave anyone behind, yet keep everyone engaged. Gen Z’s more than ever before love learning by doing and getting involved. Over the past years, I have experienced this and therefore adapted the teaching approach to be more engaging. In my classes, children learn by doing and therefore learn effortlessly whilst having fun. Specifically, they learn a language, whilst also learning about relevant topics and exciting cultures around the world. I have developed a unique and innovative way in teaching Spanish to young children, so it’s easy, fun and enjoyable! Our children love to come to classes, and that is what we focus in the most".
